class="MsoNormal">Two men have appeared in court in Dublin charged in connection with the murder of Michael Kelly.

class="MsoNormal">Vincent Ryan from Grange Abbey Drive in Donghmede and Darragh Evans of Grange Park Rise in Raheny have both been charged with firearms offenses.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">The 30-year-old was shot dead outside an apartment complex on Marrsfield Avenue in Clongriffin last year.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">3 men – 22-year-old Ryan, 23-year-old Evans and Nathan Kinsella – who is aged 33 with an address at Matt Talbot Court in Dublin City Centre – were re-appearing before the Special Criminal Court today.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">The charges relate to IRA membership following paramilitary activity at the funeral of Dublin man Alan Ryan earlier this month.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">Vincent Ryan – a brother of the murdered dissident republican – and Darragh Evans were additionally charged as part of the investigation into the murder of 30-year-old Michael Kelly.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">Kelly was shot dead outside an apartment complex on Marrsfield Avenue in Clongriffin on September 15th 2011.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">The charges related to the possession of an assault rifle and a revolver on the day of the murder.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">The 3 men have been remanded in custody to appear again before the non-jury court on Wednesday October 3rd.
