Locals say there was a lot of noise and commotion last night following the funeral reception in a nearby pub.
One local man said the area is quiet, and nicknamed 'Coronation Street' because of the amount of older residents, but that it was different last night.
"I noticed a fight in the pub and then they came outside the pub," he said.
"I was looking at hundreds running up and down the road; girls, young kids".
Another man said he saw it unfold.
"Two guys were walking avery fast away from the pub and followed by a group of people," he said.
"It looked like it was a heated argument, then it stopped outside a house and a fight broke out.
"There was absolute mayhem; digs, punches, glasses, fecking wheel braces - everything - from one or two individuals.
"Quite scary for the people in the area," he added.
The scene remains sealed off this morning pending a technical exam.
