Two men are being held after gardai seized drugs - with an estimated value of €460,000 - in Dublin earlier this week.

Gardaí from Ballymun discovered cannabis herb, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs following the planned search of two vehicles in the Finglas area on Tuesday.

A substantial amount of cash was also recovered following further searches in the Finglas and Blanchardstown areas.

Two men - aged 33 and 39 - were arrested.

They are being detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice.
