Two men have been arrested in Limerick in connection with the murder of Lee Slattery.
Gardaí arrested the men yesterday evening and they remain in custody in Garda stations in Limerick.
They were arrested under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007, which applies to murder involving a firearm or explosive or offences.
This follows the arrest of two men and one woman in connection with the murder last week.
The woman in her 30s arrested on May 19th remains in custody.
The two men arrested on May 20th were released without charge last night and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Mr Slattery (24) was discovered near Moyross in Limerick on May 31st, 2010, after being missing for five days.
He was discovered in a shallow grave with gunshot wounds on the grounds of the derelict Delmege House.
There have now been 23 arrests made as part of the investigation into Mr Slattery’s death.
