Gardaí have arrested a man and a woman after drugs were seized in south Dublin.

As part of an intelligence led operation, officers searched two properties in Crumlin and Drimnagh on Thursday.

During the course of the search, a substantial quantity of benzodiazepines, cocaine and heroin - with an estimated street value of €135,000 - was seized.

A man and woman, both aged in their 20s, were arrested.

They are being detained at Crumlin Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
