Two people have been arrested in Cork City following the seizure of Cocaine worth an estimated street value of 40 thousand euro.

A man and a woman in their 50's were arrested following the search of a house in the Bride Valley View area of Fairhill on Cork's northside at approximately 6pm.

The seizure was made by the Gurranabraher District Drugs Squad.

The man and woman are being held at Mayfield Garda Station.
