Two people are reported to have been killed and one injured after a suspect opened fire in a shopping centre in Florida’s west coast.
Police in Melbourne said officers responded to an active shooter call at about 9:30am and cleared the centre by 10:40am.
Melbourne's Mayor told Florida Today that the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a domestic dispute between a woman who worked at the mall's food court and her husband.
It was unclear whether the shooter was killed or wounded, but Melbourne Police tweeted to say the shooter had been 'contained':
Shooter is contained; Ofcs are clearing the mall store by store
