A man and woman have died following a road traffic collision in north Dublin.
The collision between two vehicles happened at Drumcondra Road Lower, at the junction of Hollybank Road, at around 6.30am on Friday.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, and a forensic collision investigation was carried out.
The man aged in his 70s and woman in her 30s were both the only people in their respective cars.
They have been removed to the Dublin City Mortuary, where a post mortem examination will take place.
Drumcondra Road Lower has fully re-opened, after being closed in both directions for a time.

Gardaí are appealing to motorists with dashcams, or anyone travelling on Drumcondra Road Lower between 5.45am and 6.15am, to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01-666-8600, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
