Two men have been seriously injured in a Dublin city centre stabbing.

It happened on Hardwicke Street just before 8pm last night.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene before the two men were brought to the Mater Hospital.

Their injuries are serious but not believed to be life threatening.

No arrests have been made but Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
