Gardai in Co. Clare are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 21-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was shot while attending a family wedding at Bunratty Castle.

Two men were arrested yesterday morning in Cork city in relation to the incident.

They are both aged in their 20s.
