Two women aged in their 20s are due in court today in connection with a number of robberies in north Dublin in the last fortnight.

In the early hours of yesterday morning, gardaí saw a car parked in the Cloghran area which was suspected of involvement in a number of robberies.

These include off-licenses and pharmacies in Ballymun and Phibsboro.

The two female occupants were arrested and taken to Ballymun garda station.

They are due before the Criminal Courts of Justice later today.
