Police in the North are investigating a shooting at a house in Co Tyrone last night.

It happened at Stewart Avenue in Cookstown at about 11.15pm.

A shot was fired through the window of a house.

A man aged in his 50s who was in the house at the time.

However police say he was not injured, but was left shaken by the ordeal.
