An Uber driver accused of killing six people in-between picking up fares in the US state of Michigan has been formally charged.
Jason Dalton appeared in court in an orange jump-suit to have 16 separate charges read to him.
Prosecutors are investigating the apparently random shootings in Kalamazoo on Saturday night.
Eight people were shot in total during the rampage, at locations including an apartment block, car dealership and a restaurant. A father and son were among those killed.
A 14-year-old girl is said to be in a critical condition after being shot.
The shooter is believed to have picked his victims at random.
Commenting on the shootings, President Barack Obama said, "another one of our communities was terrorised by gun violence... you've got families who are shattered today".
