Health officials in the UK want to trace 3 people who sat near a man on a flight from Dubai to Glasgow as he is now critically ill with Congo Fever.
He is being treated in isolation at a hospital in Glasgow.
The 38-year-old returned on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Glasgow on Tuesday.
Soon after he landed tests revealed he had Congo fever.
This viral disease is spread by ticks and is normally passed through contact with the blood or body fluids of infected animals or people.
It is widespread in parts of Africa, Asia, India and the Middle East.
It is known to kill at least 1/3 of patients and symptoms include headache, fever and vomiting.
Passengers who sat close to the man on flight EK027 on Tuesday as well as airline, airport and hospital staff are being contacted to make sure they do not have the virus.
