A Russian warship was struck by rockets in Crimea in the early hours of the morning.
The Novocherkassk landing ship has been sunk as a result, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has claimed.
The incident took place at Feodosiya in Russian-occupied Crimea.

The head of Ukraine’s Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk shared footage of the attack on social media earlier today.
He said Russia’s fleet is “getting smaller and smaller”.
The Black Sea port is considered a strategic location of importance for Russia.

Feodosiya has a population of 67,000 people.
The Crimean Peninsula was invaded by Russia in 2014 and annexed from Ukraine.
