Ukraine's Acting Foreign Minister says the country will not give up on Crimea.
Reuters report Andriy Deshchytsia told a press conference in Kiev: "Crimea is and will be Ukrainian territory and we will not give up Crimea to anyone.”
Meanwhile, international observers have been refused entry to Crimea for a third day running. Warning shots were fired as a convoy approached the peninsula.
The Foreign Minister added that his government were looking for a diplomatic solution to the crisis: "We are putting all our efforts into solving this matter through diplomacy - we have already had too many victims."
Crimea’s parliament is holding a referendum in a week, to decide whether to become part of Russia.
