The government wants public servants incluing teachers and nurses to work extra hours for the same pay under the new deal.

But Trade unions say the government is asking too much, as they sit down together for the first session of whats expected
to be a difficult round of talks.

Liam Doran from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says his members have no more to give.
