In the US a passenger jet has been forced to land in Philadelphia after the FBI received an anonymous tip that liquid explosives could be on board.

NBC News is reporting that 1 person has been taken off the US Airways flight plane in handcuffs.

It is also believed bomb-sniffing dogs and FBI agents are now on board.

The airline says some passengers remain on-board the flight.

While several others have been allowed to return to the gate area.

Reports say it is flight 1267A from Philadelphia to Dallas.

Some media is also reporting that all 69 passengers and 5 crew members are safe.
