An American lottery employee has been arrested after being identified as the mystery winner of a multimillion-dollar ticket that baffled investigators for years.
Eddie Tipton (51) from Iowa is accused of buying the Hot Lotto ticket in 2010, despite being legally prohibited, and asking others to claim it.
Authorities say Mr Tipton contacted two men after he realised he was the winner.
He now faces two fraud charges.
The investigation was opened up to the public in October - and a CCTV video, that purported to show the mystery winner as he bought the ticket, was released
They asked the public for help in identifying the man, whose face was covered by a hoodie.
The Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich has reportedly called the case one of the strangest in the history of the lottery.
