US President Barack Obama has reassured the families of the Colorado shooting victims that they will never be forgotten.

He is in Aurora visiting them and those who remain in hospital.

He says the suspect may have received a lot of attention recently but that “the attention will soon fade away”.

10 of the injured are still hospitalised.

7 are in a critical condition.

Mr. Obama says “all of America and much of the world” is thinking of the families and victims of the Colorado cinema shooting.
