A massive sinkhole has opened in the US state of Michigan.
The hole, measuring some 12-feet wide, caused traffic to divert in Detroit.
The hole opened shortly after midday on March 3rd.

According to local reports from The Detroit News, the hole was caused by a collapsed sewer pipe.
A contractor has been scheduled to assess the damage and cover the road's exposed gas lines.
