America has evacuted its staff from the city of Benghazi in Libya, after what President Obama described as an “outrageous” attack on its consulate.

The U.S Ambassador – and three other American officials – were killed in the incident – by armed gunmen who stormed the building overnight.

It follows anger about an American-produced film that mocks the Prophet Mohammed.
