A van driver has died in a collision with an articulated truck in county Tipperary.
It happened on the N24 between Barne Lodge and Condon’s Cross at around 10.40am this morning.
Emergency services were called and the van driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road, which is the main link between Waterford and Limerick, remains closed for a technical examination by Forensic Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was travelling the road between 10am and 10.45am and may have camera footage.
