A man in his 60s has died following a single-vehicle van crash in Dundrum, Co Dublin.
It happened at approximately 6.15am on Sunday, April 7th, on the Churchtown Road Upper in Dundrum, Dublin 14.
The driver and sole occupant of the van, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A forensic technical examination of the scene was conducted and the road has since re-opened.
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
They are particularly interested in anyone with dashcam footage who was driving in the area at the time.
This is the 61st reported death to happen on Irish roads in 2024. Earlier on Sunday, a pedestrian was killed in a road crash in Cork while a motorcyclist died in a crash in Wicklow.
