A suspect device discovered in Ballymun in Dublin last night was made safe by the army bomb disposal team.
Gardaí alerted the army yesterday evening on discovery of the suspect item which was found on a building site in Poppintree.
A number of nearby buildings were evacuated, and traffic restrictions were put in place for public safety.

The improvised explosive device was removed to a safe military location for further testing.
The scene was declared safe at 8:30pm
The device was later determined to have been viable.
