Humans are unlikely to ever get bored of images of our home planet from space - especially when they are as beautiful as astronaut's Alexander Gerst's.
The videos, shared by the European Space Agency, combines 12,500 images, and the results are predictably impressive. As the ESA states, "marvel at the auroras, sunrises, clouds, stars, oceans, the Milky Way, the International Space Station, lightning, cities at night, spacecraft and the thin band of atmosphere that protects us from space."
