CCTV in China has captured a boy trying to rob two different shops.

In the first store he attacks - possibly with a knife in hand - and subdues the girl working behind the till.

But when he realises that there are only small bills inside the till, he seems to lose interest and looks rather forlorn and sheepish.

The same boy is then filmed in another shop, attempting a similar ploy. However this time he clearly appears to be carrying a knife. But when he tries to attack the man working behind the till all hell breaks loose.

The staff member does not take the boy's attack lightly, striking him repeatedly until he finally subdues him.
