The Chinese government has spent countless resources building up their flight infrastructure - from constructing modern, expensive airports to significantly bulking up their fleets.
Unfortunately, despite all the money being spent, the actual process of catching a flight remains frustrating. It has been reported that many major Chinese airports struggle to have even a quarter of their flights leaving as scheduled. All this waiting and cancellations lead to some very angry travellers.
For example, on July 18th 30 passengers stormed a Nanchang airport after a seven hour delay. Numerous other incidents have seen flight attendents and airline employees assualted and even hospitalised. Another delay saw two passengers rip open a plane's emergency exit door, leading to the flight being delayed for even longer.
The Telegraph have put together a few clips to show the violent lengths some frustrated passengers have gone to. Most of us probably don't like the airport experience at the best of times, but be glad it's so rare we encounter particularly irate passengers:
