While known as man’s best friend, it would seem that some dogs take that duty very seriously, and throw themselves into the role of personal lifeguard as well.

In the video below, some waterside tomfoolery sees the noble mutt spring into action, jumping straight to his “drowning” owner’s rescue. He then does his best to get his owner to the shoreline, and probably would have resorted to some mouth-to-mouth, had the need arose.
