Christmas dinner can be a fraught and frenzied experience, with drunken uncles, barmy aunts, and seething family tensions all bound to sitting together for a couple of hours around a dry turkey. And what if you run out of gravy?
Well, a pet-food company called Freshpet has recreated the scene with thirteen dogs and one cat, becoming a huge viral hit in the process.
The video was made with the help of an animal shelter, and most of the dogs are currently living in dog pounds. The company says it will cover the fee for anyone willing to adopt the dogs and cat from the short – and will throw in some food and treats on the side.
