Derek Muller, a host of YouTube science channel Veritasium, has gone where most people will never get to go - or indeed would never want to go.
As part of a documentary to be broadcast on television next year, Muller and his crew have been exploring some of the most radioactive places on the planet, including Fukushima and Pripyat. As you would expect, they were equipped with all the necessary safety equipment.
The video also offers an accessible explanation of the levels of radioactivity present in these locations, comparing them to how much radiation we generally encounter in our everyday lives.
