With the news of a whole new roster of driving offences likely to add some points to your licence, perhaps you should be brushing up on your skills with a Rubik’s Cube this Christmas.

American magician Steven Brundage was stopped by traffic police over the weekend for driving over the speed limit. Explaining that he was returning from a holiday party where he had been performing, the officer asked him to perform a magic trick – and was so impressed by Mr Brundage's sleight-of-hand, he let him go without a ticket. 

So the next time you consider driving over a mini roundabout, you might want to have these dangling from your rear-view mirror.
