A man has become the adoptive mother of 13 ducklings after he was the first thing they saw upon hatching. 

This viral video shows them following Rick, their 'mother', around a garden. He explains that their mother "never came back" after the eggs were laid, which led him to adopt the eggs and keep them safe in an incubator. 

Commenting on Reddit, a neighbour of Rick says he plans to keep them at home and "wait til their oil comes in and then take them to live in the ponds/little lakes in our neighborhood".
