As any parent knows, putting kids to bed is never as easy as it sounds.

One Norwegian mother decided to document her struggle by creating a time-lapse video of her attempts to put sons Nathaniel and Leon to sleep.

The Mirror reports that Henriette Jonassen became sick of the toddlers waking each other up at night and climbing into her bed.

Following the advice of a friend, she put them to sleep in separate rooms - though this technique hasn't exactly been a success as the video shows.

Like with any good time-lapse, it even includes the Benny Hill theme tune 'Yakety Sax.'
