A former jet-propulsion engineer for NASA has just raised the stakes on the novelty Christmas jumper - he's designed a range of pullovers incorporating smartphone displays to digitise festive patterns.
Digital Dudz seamlessly incorporates smartphone displays into the design, by creating fireplaces with animated flames that will keep people staring at your chest all evening. The jumpers have a special pouch in which a phone running an app is placed, to draw envious looks for about five minutes, and accusations of notions thereafter.
After launching with five jumpers last year, there are now 10 different patterns to choose from, including a Santa Claus stuck in a chimney and a glowing Rudolph's nose. The jumpers retail online for €50.
