It's been a while since we've felt obliged to write about a cover version of Daft Punk's Get Lucky.

With six months or so having passed since the release of the monster hit, you'd think almost every twist and interpretation of the 'song of the summer' had been released into the wild.

From Linda Martin's infamous performance to a banjo only version (you can revisit those versions and more by clicking here), one could be forgiven for thinking the song's potential had been well and truly exhausted.

But like the legend of the phoenix, it's the song that seems destined to always rise again. A Russian police force choir have definitively proven there's still life in Get Lucky yet.

In what might be the strangest cover yet, the uniformed law informers dance and sing their hearts out as they celebrate being up all night to get some.

Throw in a delightfully enthusiastic conductor, and you have a seriously impressive, albeit extremely odd, performance.
