The humble pancake is often at its best with no frills and whistles. A drizzle of lemon, a bit of caster sugar... or maybe the maple syrup variety. You can always go with more exotic choices, but most keep it simple - and, of course, round.

While Pancake Tuesday 2015 is drawing to a close, the Star Wars UK YouTube channel has shared a video that shows some of the impressive things that can be done when one puts a little bit more effort into their pancakes.

While these shapes look pretty good when the mixture is being carefully placed in the pan, it's when they're flipped over that they become really impressive.
