Two Australians got a little closer than they'd like to one of nature's most ferocious animals.
The Newcastle Herald reports that on Saturday Tim Watson, 24, and Allan de Sylva, 23, were fishing off Blacksmiths beach in News South Wales when they spotted a five-metre great white shark.
The two men watched on terrified as the shark circled their boat and nudged the engine
Though Watson says he was "quite nervous and a bit shaken," he has no plans to abandon the water just yet:
"I don’t think it will stop me, I won’t go that far out in a small boat again, though," he said.
As you might guess, the language in the video is far from PG.
