Virgin Media Ireland has said the issue that left customers across Ireland without internet overnight has now been fixed.
The issue saw customers facing a series of broadband outages from around 5pm yesterday, right through the night.
The company, which provides Internet to 378,000 homes and businesses around Ireland, has apologised for any inconvenience caused to customers.
The intermittent broadband connection issues reported by some customers is resolved and we do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Last night the company said its technicians were working “flat out” to fic the problem which was “seeing broadband connectivity interrupted for a very short period of time before being restored.”
Virgin customers in the UK were also experiencing issues, with thousands of people complaining online.
UK Virgin Media said it is “investigating an intermittent broadband issue that lasted for a very short period of time earlier this evening.”
