Broadcaster Virgin Media has announced its morning show 'Ireland AM' is to be cut in length by 30 minutes.
Its midday news programme is also to be trimmed by half an hour.
This is to make room for the British morning show 'This Morning', which it says is being brought back due to popular demand.
'This Morning' will return from 10.00am to 12.30pm from Monday March 9th.
This means Virgin Media's breakfast TV show 'Ireland AM' will air until 10.00am on weekdays.
'Ireland AM' will lose the last 30 minutes of its existing slot, which was announced as part of changes last September.
While the current hour-long Virgin Media News programme will instead air from 12.30pm to 1.00pm.
This was also part of a shake-up that was announced late last year.
'The Elaine Show' is also moving from 11.00am to 3.00pm weekdays.
