Virgin Media Television has confirmed its fashion and entertainment show 'Xposé' is being axed.
The show is coming to an end after 12 years on air as part of a daytime revamp at the TV group.
The last 'Xposé' will broadcast on October 4th with a one hour special.
In addition to the changes, ITV's 'This Morning' and 'Loose Women' will end their run on Virgin Media Television on the same day.
Other changes will see breakfast TV show 'Ireland AM' extended by 30 minutes from 7.00am to 11.00am.
While the 'Weekend AM' programme will be re-branded to 'Ireland AM on Saturdays' and 'Ireland AM on Saturdays'.
There will be a combined presentation team working across the seven day breakfast service.
'Elaine' will move to a mid-morning slot of 11.00am, while a new one hour news programme 'Live at 12' will be anchored by Colette Fitzpatrick.
And 'The Six O'Clock Show' will air five days a week.
Pat Kiely, managing director of Virgin Media Television, said: "Our investment in state-of-the-art studio facilities over the last three years means we can now step up and deliver more Irish content than ever before.
"Like all broadcasters however we are facing on-going economic and competitive challenges.
"This means we must move with the times and reflect changing tastes and media consumption.
"It also means having to make tough decisions to ensure we remain viable and relevant."
"I would like to pay tribute to the Xposé team and all who worked on the show over the last twelve years.
"Xposé set the standard for entertainment reporting in an era before the proliferation of social media and leaves behind a genuine legacy in Irish entertainment journalism."
