As the world goes Star Wars crazy (the film is already smashing box office records) Ireland can claim a particular connection to the latest installment of the world’s most famous franchise due to Skellig Michael being one of the filming locations used in making The Force Awakens.

But now a group from Armagh have added another layer to that with this traditional Irish interpretation of John Williams’ iconic score.

Connla have created a whole new rendering of the theme tune, using uileann pipes, a harp and a bodhran.
