Recent days have seen the likes of Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Beyonce perform songs in dedication to the victims of the gay nightclub shooting in Orlando, and this weekend added another world famous singer to that list.
Performing his song "You're Only Human" for the first time since 1987, Joel performed the song to the packed house in Madison Square Garden, and dedicated the performance to those who lost there lives in the Pulse Nightclub attack.
He told the audience: "We’re no strangers to terrorism and mayhem and grief, maybe here in New York more than any other city in America. Us guys have been to Orlando many times, and we will be back there again, and I just want to dedicate tonight’s concert to the people of Orlando, especially the families and friends and the loved ones of the victims of this senseless massacre, you’re with us and we’re with you.”
