Having just gotten over the bigger-than-ever burst of Halloween fervour, but still a bit too far from December’s festivities to break out a playlist, animators Leigh Lahav and Oren Mendez have hit the pop culture sweet spot, with a brilliant mash-up of Stranger Things and the classic Peanuts cartoon, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The animated short below focuses on a Charlie Brown-like Will Byers, who just can’t quite come to terms with his unfortunate experiences facing off against the Demogorgon in the Upside Down. And good grief, it’s pretty special.
