A cold feudal world where torture, murder, and political backstabbing controls every decision, Donald Trump’s attempts to secure the Republican ticket on the way to the White House have been a spectacle worthy of Game of Thrones. And now someone has edited the scene-stealing candidate into scenes from the show, and it’s pretty spectacular.

While in the US Trump holds millions of voters in his thrall, it seems that his political philosophy would feel right at home in the warring lands of Westeros. After all, with old gods and new gods, dragons flying around, and a giant wall keeping out unwanted immigrants, it seems that George RR Martin was channelling Trump’s policies when he created the world.
