When Ger “Farmer” Foley from Killorglin passed away, his friends decided to give him a monumental send off.

To honour Foley's memory, friend Brian O’Sullivan hops on the bar in a local pub to deliver the most extraordinary performance of 'Mr Brightside' you're ever likely to hear.

“[Ger] is salt of the earth, he will never be replaced, but we will remember him forever in our lives,” he tells the crowd, before launching into an impassioned rendition of The Killers' classic.

The video has already been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, a fitting tribute for Mr Foley.
