This week has seen Comic-Con in San Diego dominate the internet, and as it approaches its end, we take a look at some of the biggest and best trailers the festival has had to offer.
There have been announcements of new TV shows that look to jump on the super-hero bandwagon from Netflix, whipping up some excitement for fans of Marvel's franchises.
However, as Hollywood scrambles around looking for any superhero property that they haven't alreayd hoovered up, trailers for big-budget blockbusters have also been popping up across the four-day festival like they're going out of style.
Here's a handy rundown of the ones that will be appearing in screens near you, after they've collectively spent billions of dollars on more special effects.
Dr. Strange
Benedict Cumberbatch will join the ranks of the superhero movie performers as he dons the cape (and tux, apparently) as Dr. Strange. The trailer features plenty of shots of cities folding in on themselves, so if you liked those parts of Inception, then this is right up your street.
Kong: Skull Island
Brie Larson has had a busy few days, as not only was she announced as the star of Captain Marvel, but a trailer for the latest reboot of the King Kong franchise also popped up. The movie promises to be yet another origin story, as Tom Hiddlestone and Larson hunt down the giant ape.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
Adding to a busy few days for Warner Bros. was their trailer for a new take on the King Arthur story. Starring Charlie Hunnam and directed by Guy Ritchie, the movie promises to "trace Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne."
Wonder Woman
After making a cameo in Batman vs. Superman, Gal Gadot returns to front her own super-hero movie as Wonder Woman. After Chris Pine washes up on a beach and tells her that there's a World War going on, she decides to jump into action and do her best to stop the situation from getting out of hand.
Justice League
Affleck is back as billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne and Batman (spoiler) as he attempts to round up a motley crew of helpers to fight against their enemies and, presumably, save the world. Jason Momoa stars as Aquaman, while Gal Gadot has clearly been busy as she reprises her role as Wonder Woman.
This particular flick won't be in cinemas until late in 2017, and Warner Bros. were keen to point out that this isn't actually a trailer, rather it's just some special footage that they've given to fans at Comic-Con.
Still, it looks quite like a trailer.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
There was more footage for fans of Harry Potter and Eddie Redmayne to feast on as a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them also appeared. With the movie set to arrive in a few months, there's not long to wait now to see the whole thing, but this might be enough to tide you over.
Suicide Squad
With just about two weeks before the movie is actually released, this special remix of footage from the movie was another special cut for Comic-Con, as they looked to make the most of their last chance to get people through the doors of the cinema to buy their tickets.
They also gave fans an extended look at Jarde Leto's Joker.
Star Trek: Discovery
For the Trekkies out there, there was good news too as the return of the iconic show to the small screen was teased as well. CBS, who will be airing the new series in the United States, gave eager fans a glimpse at the new Starfleet USS Discovery ship.
Snowden
Fans at Comic-Con were also given another glimpse at Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Edward Snowden. The man himself also appeared via video link at the event, as did director Oliver Stone, as fans were given a special first screening of the movie.
While the finished product won't be released until September, those who weren't on hand to see the movie were given a new trailer instead.
