Dolphins are renowned for their intelligence, but do you know just how clever the sea mammals are?

A new animated short from the clever clogs at TED hopes to catch you up with the genius of dolphins, by showing just how much they display similarities to human-level intelligence. From their ability to mimic human beings, show an understanding of symbols and syntax (the two main elements of language, through to showing empathy and altruism, there is a lot going on in a bottlenose’s brain.
