As Ireland celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising, thousands of people gathered for parades, memorial events and concerts held around the country.

RTÉ concluded their Rising coverage with an arts show called 'Centenary' at the Bord Gais Theatre on Monday night.

Imelda May, Jack L, Gavin James, The High Kings, Colm Wilkinson, Danny O'Reilly, Iarla Ó Lionáird, Sharon Shannon and Seo Linn all took part in 'Centenary'.

However, undoubtedly the most moving part of the show was the reading of the Proclamation of the Irish Republic by the Irish diaspora across the world.
