A pair of loose swans have been granted a Garda escort down Grafton Street after finding themselves stuck on one of Dublin’s busiest shopping streets.
The two large birds were spotted far from the water and waddling amongst the shoppers during the bustling lunchtime rush.
Luckily, three gardaí were on hand to give the swans a special Garda escort down the length of Grafton Street and back into St Stephen’s Green.
Pedestrians and shoppers cleared the path to help ensure the swans’ safe return to a more natural environment.
